Therapy

FOR TRAUMA AND PTSD

We are to be undone. This is life. There’s no getting around it. We unravel over and over again. Life gets disrupted. We are thrown off. We face the unimaginable. It’s sobering, ending up in a place that we thought we’d never be. There’s nothing to do but stand there, unraveled. When doing is done and there’s nothing to do, you meet what can’t be imagined.”

Group KAP - In Person

In the Fall of 2024 Alchemy Arts Therapy will partner with Molt Wellness Collective to bring Group KAP sessions to clients with an emphasis on the mindfulness-based therapeutic use of ceremony and ritual during group medicine sessions. We believe in the healing powers of the group process, as we don’t just heal from our own insights but also from the insights of others in the group. The process of practicing vulnerability while being lovingly witnessed in the group setting allows us to take greater risks of authenticity with others in our personal lives, thus unlocking the healing power of being known and understood while reducing shame for embodying our truth and humanity.

Individual Therapy - Virtual

During Individual Therapy sessions we will unpack the pain that has lead you here without external interruption from others. This alchemical setting allows us to dive deep into contemplation on the factors that have imbedded the splinter of suffering into life, explore how our childhood experiences with family or trauma has soiled the lens of our relationships with self and others, and learn new skills to engage in our realities differently for desired outcomes. By offering therapy virtually online, there’s no need to worry about rushing through traffic to get to the office on time, budgeting a commute time in your schedule, and no need to put on your finest clothing. Your are valid just as you are.

SERVICES

MEET YOUR THERAPIST

Hi there, I’m Erin,

Since joining the field of mental health I have worked in jails, prisons, courts, probation, residential treatment centers, non profits, and in group practice.  I have worked with both perpetrators and survivors of violence, people involved in sex work, people living with HIV, survivors of human trafficking, trans folx, and LGBTQIA people. I was also a subject matter expert that trained Denver County Court magistrates and judges on trauma-informed care in the criminal justice system, and similarly was featured as a panel speaker at multiple events to discuss the legacy of trauma in incarceration and sex work. I’ve spent years refining my skills in trauma healing, and very much look forward to the sacred opportunity to help you transform your brokenness and pain into a life of vibrancy and joy.
