Please note, I am unable to bill a commercial insurance plan as primary and Medicaid secondary, as I have separate billing systems for each. Payment is billed at the time services are rendered. My hourly rate is charged for no-shows, late cancellations, and late arrivals past 15 minutes to help hold you accountable for the integrity of your treatment.
Out-of-Network Benifits:
If I don’t accept your insurance plan, you may elect to waive your insurance benefits for self-pay, or see if you have Out-of-Network benefits. This will allow you the empowerment of finding your perfect match instead of being limited to the therapists networked with you plan. Additionally, insurance impacts confidentiality when proving “medical necessity” during audits, which can profit the insurance industry by potentially “clawing back” payment received for services.
Check directly with your insurance company to see if you are eligible for Out-of-Network benefits. Some insurance plans allow you to submit receipts/statements to reimburse some of the costs for Out-of-Network services you have paid for out-of-pocket. After you verify your eligibility for Out-of-Network benefits, please feel free to ask me for a monthly “Superbill” you then submit to your insurance carrier for potential reimbursement of session fees.
You are responsible for all communication and interaction with your insurer. I do not have any contact with your insurance company.
